Milestones

Abbey has been sitting up for a while now and I have failed to keep everyone updated as she continues to grow. She sat alone for the first time Nov 20 and has decided since then that it is the only way to see the world. She hates being on her belly now or lying down. Everything must be done sitting, or standing is even better!

Abbey turned 6 months yesterday! It is so hard to believe. She started repeating daddy last week, saying "ba" and blowing rasberries. She loves to eat! (takes after her mother) She has tried squash, yams, carrots, green beans, peas, pears, apples, and bananas. The green veges were a no go already but she enjoys yams, apples, and bananas.

She started sleeping through the night this week--it has been fabulous! For the first time in 6 months I have slept for more than 4 hours in a stretch. I feel like a new woman! She is still nursing about every 4 hours during the day but can go about 10 hours at night. Don't be fooled, she doesn't sleep that whole 10 hours but we're moving in that direction! It has only taken 6 months, but we are finally on a schedule. It definitely helps my life feel a little less hectic.

She is into everything and anything she can get her hands on. Always grabbing for something new. She really enjoys grabbing noses, and small patches of skin that weren't meant to be pinched!

Every day

Above is Abbey's first personal entry. It is difficult to type on the computer without her input. Anyways. What I was trying to say is every day is full of new joys with this little one. It is hard to believe or understand how in love you can be with such a little person! She brings so much happiness into our house!
